PTI should apologise to journalists for abuse: Sherry Rehman

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sherry Rehman said in a tweet the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) should apologise for blaming and abusing journalists.
Sherry Rehman tweeted that when news started coming on Toshakhana gifts and watches, the PTI not only denied the reports but also accused journalists of filling their pockets. Ms Rehman said now one evidence after another was coming out in the public. The PTI had every right to deny the news with evidence but they did not have the right to accuse others of treason and calling them envelope journalists. The PTI should at least apologise for blaming and abusing the journalists.
The senator further said that even if it is late, the truth always finds its way and lies are always exposed. Imran Khan and PTI are burdened with their own narrative.
