Three children crushed to death as swimming pool wall collapsed
LAHORE (Dunya News) – At least three children were crushed to death when the wall of a swimming pool collapsed in Badami Bagh area of the provincial capital Lahore.
As per details, the wall of a swimming pool collapsed and six children got buried under the rubble. While three children died in the incident. The dead included 12-year-old Thaqleen, 14-year-old Azhar and 14-year-old Dilawar.
Meanwhile, three injured children 12-year-old Rashid, 14-year-old Hamza and 13-year-old Sagar have been shifted to hospital.
Furthermore, the Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz and IG Punjab have also called for a report on the tragic incident.
According to police, the incident took place when a wall made of faulty material collapsed. The owner of the swimming pool was detained and is being interrogated.
