DG anti-Corruption orders immediate release of Sheerin Mazari
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Following the orders of the Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz, Anti-Corruption Punjab Director General on Saturday ordered release of former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Dr Shireen Mazari.
The officials of the anti-corruption Punjab also decided to continue investigating the former federal minister in according with the law.
According to the officials, Mazari was arrested in accordance with the law and she will be investigated according to the law as the case is not over.
They said that Mazari was summoned several times to respond to the allegations but she did not appear.
According to the officials, the former minister will have to answer for the allegations against. The case against Shirin Mazari was made in the previous period.
