Asif Zardari, Fazlur Rehman discuss current political situation
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday met Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to current political situation came under discussion.
The two leaders agreed that all decisions are being made in consultation with the national government and will continue to do so in the future.
They said that Pakistan comes first and then politics and they will continue to take all steps for the betterment of Pakistan and not for the politics of two cents like others.
Both the leaders said that only the national government can steer the country out of the whirlpool created by the previous government.
