PTI government ousted through democratic process, says Bilawal
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday said that the ouster of PTI government was a democratic process and democratic conspiracy against Imran Khan was hatched in Bilawal house, not at While House.
Addressing a rally in Karachi, the PPP Chairperson said that the nation is not with the dismissed PTI government anymore, this is the real change, he said. Bilawal added that Imran Khan was selected in the 2018 elections. He termed Imran Khan’s removal from power to be a victory for the whole country.
The Foreign Minister said those who rise up against the dictators and tyrants of the time are the ones who succeed. Calling out to the people he said that they have fought Zia-ul-Haq and ended dictatorship with Movement for the Restoration of Democracy (MRD).
Carrying on with it he added that the people struggled with democratic parties and sent dictator Musharraf out. The people in the country started a new struggle, when the selected was imposed, he said.
The Foreign Minister exclaimed that we went head on and told the incompetent that it’s not elected but selected.
Talking about PPP’s contributions for the restoration of democracy he said that Asif Ali Zardari had not backed down from the principles of jail tolerance. He said we stood against the undemocratic person. When we move out in the field, we succeed.
We have sent the selected home, I congratulate the supporters for our victory, said Bilawal.
He said that the basis of Pakistan Democratic Movement was held on the agenda that we will remove the PTI leader through parliament. We formed PDM ignoring our political rivalry.
This change achieved after three years of struggle is the real change, he added.
