Young doctors end strike after successful talks with Balochistan Govt

Provincial Health Minister Ehsan Shah said that demands of Young doctors have been accepted.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - Young doctors in Quetta ended their strike after successful talks with the Balochistan government on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

Provincial Health Minister Ehsan Shah in a press conference along with young doctors announced the acceptance the demands of protesting doctors and said that successful talks were held between the government and YDA.

Provincial Health Minister said that HPA and other allowances of young doctors have been increased 100 percent and added that accommodation will be provided to doctors of Civil and BMC hospitals.

Speaking on the occasion, chairman Young Doctors Association Dr Abdul Samad thanked the government for acceptance of their demands and providing health facilities to the people.

He further said that the OPDs will continue to operate outside the doctors  camp till the issuance of notification.
