LAHORE (Dunya News) – The picture of alleged terrorist, who carried out a blast at Lahore’s New Anarkali, has surfaced today (Friday).

According to sources, two facilitators and one alleged terrorist reached Anarkali market with an intention of explosion. Both the facilitators arrived at the market via Circular Road while the terrorist took the route of Pan Gali.

The alleged terrorist placed the bag full of explosives infront of the bank and left the area.

Earlier in the day, the case of blast at New Anarkali’s Pan Mandi in Lahore has been registered. According to the First Information Report (FIR), there were three terrorists who came on motorcycle and planted the bomb.

As per latest development, the investigation teams found ball bearings from the blast area.

It merits mention here that a time-device blast took place in Pan Mandi area in New Anarkali bazar of Lahore and killed three people and injured 29 others.

Windows of nearby shops and buildings were left shattered by the explosion and motorcycles damaged.

Police said that around 1.5 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. It was further learnt that the explosives were placed on ground between motorcycles.

Preliminary report said that the blast took place at 1:40pm and razed a building and destroyed eight motorcycles.

Talking to media persons, DIG operations said that police teams are collecting evidence from the place of incident and soon the details of the blast will be confirmed.

Mayo Hospital officials said four people were in critical condition, with the doctors trying to save their lives. The medics gave first aid to other injured people.
