25 injured as bus overturns in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR (Dunya News) – At least 25 persons, including women and children, were wounded when a passenger bus overturned in Khairpur in the wee hours of Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the ill-fated bus was on its way to Karachi from Punjab. The bus turned turtle while taking a sharp turn in Kot Diji near Khairpur due to which 25 persons sustained injuries.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to Civil Hospital with the help of local residents. Rescue sources said that five of the critically injured persons were later referred to Sukkur.
