Explosion in sewerage line injures three in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three people on Friday have sustained severe wounds in an explosion caused due to the gases in sewarage line near Karachi’s Mehmoodabad Gate.
According to details, the injured have been shifted to the nearby hospital for medical assistance.
Earlier, a blast at Karachi’s Gulbai Shershah Paracha Chowk killed 15 people including the father of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and #Fixit Founder Alamgir Khan and injured several others.
Police said the blast took place in a nullah located in the area and caused immense damage to the building of a private bank as well as nearby cars and motorcycles.
Heavy machinery was called to the site to remove the debris and rescue any persons trapped there.
