CM Murad has directed the Karachi commissioner to launch investigation into the incident

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Minister of Sindh (CM) Murad Ali Shah on Saturday has taken notice of a blast in nullah in Karachi.

The CM has directed the Karachi commissioner to launch investigation into the incident and sought report as soon as possible. He has also expressed regret on the deaths and ordered to facilitate the affectees at hospitals.

Meanwhile, Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar has also extended condolences to the bereaved families and said that we are standing with the victims in this difficult time.

He further prayed for early recovery of the injured people.

It is to be mentioned here that a blast at Karachi’s Gulbai Shershah Paracha Chowk has killed 10 people and injured several others.

Police said the blast took place in a nullah located in the area and caused immense damage to the building of a private bank as well as nearby cars and motorcycles.

As per police, the injured are being shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment. Police and Rangers officials have also cordoned off the area.
