PM summons National Coordination Committee on Coronavirus meeting

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of the National Coordination Committee (NCC) on Coronavirus today (Friday) to review the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country, Dunya News reported.

The meeting, which will be presided over by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held at the PM Office at 3:00pm. According to sources, the meeting will be attended by federal ministers, military officials and National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) officials.

The officials of the NCOC will brief the participants of the NCC meeting on the current situation of coronavirus in the country.

Sources further informed that the meeting will also review the statistics of omicron cases. The meeting is expected to take important decisions in view of the coronavirus and omiron situation.

It is pertinent to mention here that the NCC is the apex body tasked with supervising the national response towards the COVID-19 pandemic and take policy decisions.
