LAHORE (Dunya News) – Following a disappointing performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local government elections, Prime Minister Imran Khan urged the party members in Punjab to begin preparations for the local elections in Punjab at earliest.

The premier said this during a meeting attended by the senior representatives of PTI including CM Usman Buzdar, Governor Punjab Chaudhary Sarwar, Federal Minster Fawad Chaudhary, Shafqat Mehmood, Shahbaz Gill, Mehmood-ur-Rashid, and provincial health minister Yasmin Rashid.

The senior leadership of the party was asked to give away suggestions on how to improve party position. Moreover, the prime minister said he himself will take charge of the election strategy in the province.
