ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that directly elected Tehsil Nazims in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local government elections will improve governance and create future leaders.
Prime Minister, in a tweet, said that amidst the noise over KP LG elections, no one realizes that these elections are start of modern and devolved local government system as exists in successful democracies.
The premier said that this is the time in country’s 74-year history that we have an empowered local government system.

On the other hand, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is in Islamabad to brief Prime Minister about results of local bodies election in the province.
