Bilawal announces countrywide protests against govt from Dec 17

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that as long as the government s deal with the IMF continues, the people of Pakistan will be in trouble.

Talking to media in Karachi along with Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday, he said that the wrong economic policies of the government have overburdened the masses.

The PP chairman also announced the launching a countrywide, district-level protest against the PTI-led federal government from December 17, adding that the PPP will hold protests in different districts of Karachi on December 17 and will announce its next course of action on December 27 in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh.

Bilawal went on to say that the die-hard workers of the PPP will hold demonstrations in their respective districts on December 10.

"We will also speak out against the gas problem in the country, adding that our protest will continue until we achieve genuine change in the country," he added.
