Hamid Ali Khan said government had issued Rs 17 billion for availability of furnace oil and gas.

Additional Secretary for Ministry of Water and Powersaid that the government had issued Rs 17 billion for availability of furnace oil and gas.Now duration of load shedding would be decreased with the passage of time.Khansaid this in the meeting of NA’s standing committee for water and power. He said that availability of furnace oil would increase the production of electric power.The chiefs of FESCO, HESCO AND SEPCO also briefed about the performance of companies.HESCO chief executive said that line losses reached to 28% due to old transmission lines and power-theft.
