PM Imran had earlier suggested Ashraf Ghani to form inclusive govt

BADIN (Dunya News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said on Friday that Pakistan will now suggest Taliban to form a coalition government.

The information minister said while talking to office-bearers of Badin Press Club along with Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had earlier suggested former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to form an inclusive government. He also said that Pakistan desires peace and stability in Afghanistan.

The minister said Pakistan wishes to connect China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with European Union and it is only possible if there is peace in Afghanistan. He said by connecting CPEC with EU, economic activity in the region will boost.

Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan convinced Taliban for talks with the Afghan government, but unfortunately, Ashraf Ghani did not listen to us.
On the occasion, the minister listened to the problems of the office-bearers of Badin Press Club and ensured them to address their problems on priority basis.
