MQM has accused that certain ministers are backing terrorists in Karachi.

Addressing a news conference along with other members of the MQM Coordination Committee, Sindh MPA Raza Haroon anticipated that a 1992-like operation against the MQM was on the cards. He said that in view of such attitude of the government, all efforts to maintain peace in the province would fail.He said MQM workers were targeted in Malir and Landhi as part of a conspiracy. He said police were ordered to remain absent from the scene.Raza Haroon said a provincial minister met a ring leader of terrorists in Central Jail on July 11. He said the former home minister met terrorists the same month and admitted it later.
