CDT decides to block identity card of former MQM leader Anees Advocate
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials have decided to block the identity card of former MQM leader Anees Advocate.
According to Umar Shahid, DIG, Anti-Terrorism Department, Anees Ahmed Advocate appeared today. He was asked about the training of MQM London terrorists in India but he could not satisfy the authorities.
He said that in the light of the statements of Anees advocates, the CTD has decided to confiscate his mobile phone and passport.
DIG Umar Shahid said that forensic of Anees Advocate s mobile phone will be conducted while his identity card would also be blocked. If he tried to leave the city, he would be considered a fugitive.
