Peshawar: FIR registered against PTI MPA for raiding a grid station
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A case has been registered against PTI member and MPA Haji Fazal Elahi for raiding a grid station.
The FIR against the PTI MPA has been registered in Rehman Baba police station in which some of his other associates have also been named. The FIR has been filed at the request of PESCO officials.
The application filed by the authorities said that Assembly member Haji Fazal Elahi had incited the residents of the area against PESCO and blocked the Ring Road near a grid station with dozens of people.
On the other hand, according to media reports, on the prolonged power outage, Haji Fazl Elahi had asked WAPDA officials to take action against power thieves instead of load-shedding.
MPA said in a statement that Electricity and gas load-shedding in the constituency cannot be tolerated at all.
