Govt will not compromise on cleanliness situation in Lahore: CM Buzdar

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Bazdar has said that paperwork will not be sufficient, we will not compromise on the cleanliness in Lahore.

Visiting different areas of Lahore without protocol, CM Buzdar reviewed the cleanliness situation in different parts of the city.

Expressing anger over poor cleanliness arrangements in some areas of the city, Usman Bazdar removed Lahore Waste Management Company’s (LWMC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Imran Ali Sultan from his position.

“The officers who fail to solve the problems of the people have no right to remain in office,” said CM Buzdar adding that the government will not compromise on the cleanliness situation in the province.

The Punjab CM further said that he had been receiving complaints about the sanitation situation in Lahore for some time. Lahore is the heart of Pakistan and it is important to keep the heart clean.
