The verdict stated that the court cannot intervene under Article 69 of the constitution.
ISLMABAD (Dunya News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday dismissed the plea filed by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani against election of Sadiq Sanjrani as Chairman Senate.
Announcing the reserved verdict, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court (IHC) hoped that the supremacy of Parliament will be ensured and parliament’s issues would be resolved in parliament.
