NA-75: Returning officer warns of possible fraud in 14 polling stations
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The concerned Returning Officer has expressed concern over alleged rigging at 14 polling stations during last week’s NA-75 by-elections in Daska.
According to details, the report submitted to the Election Commission by the Returning Officer recommended that re-polling take place in view of the fear of possible rigging.
The report said that the presiding officers made excuses for their late arrival, some gave the justification of their battery shutting down while some said their WhatsApp was not working.
In the report, the Returning Officer has recommended re-polling in polling stations No 2, 3, 6, 7, 11, 22, 23, 24, 26, 45, 49, 90, 91 and 92.
