Criminals have been called in PS-88 on Bilawal's directives, alleges Haleem Adil

Haleem Adil asked Director General in Rangers to keep an eye on the activities of police officers.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker and Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh on Tuesday has alleged that criminals have been called in PS-88 on the directives of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

While talking to media in Karachi, the PTI leader predicted that some issue will be caused during the polling in PS-88 by-elections with the assistance of police personnel. He further asked Director General in Rangers to keep an eye on the activities of police officers.

The reaction came after voting for by-elections in two Sindh Assembly constituencies, PS-88-Karachi and PS-43-Sanghar and on Balochistan Assembly constituency PB-20-Pishin began today.

Sources said that 20 candidates are contesting PS-88-Karachi by-election. At least 108 polling stations have been set up in the constituency out of which 36 have been declared sensitive and 33 have been declared most sensitive.

In PS-43-Sanghar, the main contest would be between candidates of PPP and PTI. PML-F chief Pir Pagara has extended his party’s support for the PTI in the by-election.

A close contest is expected between Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) candidate and the joint candidate of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in by-polls in PB-20-Pishin.
