Lahore-Sheikhupura Section of Motorway M2 closed due to fog
Flight operation at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport was also suspended due to dense fog.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Motorway M2 section from Lahore to Sheikhupura has been closed for all kind of traffic on night between Wednesday and Thursday as dense fog continued to engulfed parts of Punjab.
The Motorway police have advised the drivers to switch on fog lights while driving at very slow speed as the visibility was very low at different places due to thick fog.
The Motorway police have also requested the people to stay home and avoid unnecessary travelling.
On the other hand, flight operation at Lahore s Allama Iqbal International Airport was suspended due to dense fog as visibility was very low. Several domestic and international flights were cancelled and suspended due to foggy weather.
