Every sector of society is protesting against government: Bilawal

ASTORE (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday said that ‘selected Prime Minister’ does not know anything about the region as Asif Ali Zardari had already granted provisional provincial status to Gilgit-Baltistan in 2009.

Addressing a public rally, Bilawal Bhutto said that PPP will make history in Gilgit-Baltistan as everyone including children will support his party.

Lashing out at PTI-led federal government, he said that progress is made by initiatives like Benazir Income Support Program rather than granting amnesty to big fishes. Every sector of society from laborer to businessman is protesting against government, he added.

PPP Chairman said that they are running election campaign in a democratic manner and claimed that government does not enjoy support of masses.

He also vowed to protect the subsidies and make Gilgit-Baltistan a province of Pakistan. PM Imran said that he is not announcing package for the region due to elections, but he did not even announced any package for Mianwali despite winning the election there, he added.
