Chaudhry said Nawaz Sharif "was himself a part of the system for 15 years and served as a puppet"
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday while criticising the opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC) said that one more episode of the abbu bachao (save our fathers) campaign has flopped.
The minister took to the twitter to react to the opposition’s APC and said that what better proof of media freedom than the fact that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s speech was shown live by all channels.
Responding to the PML-N supremo s remarks regarding Pakistan being subjected to military rule for 33 years, Chaudhry said that Sharif "was himself a part of the system for 15 years and served as a puppet".
Chaudhry further said that the point of Nawaz Sharif s speech was that if he is in the government then everything is fine but if the army does not play a role in bringing him in the government then it is unacceptable.
He said that the only complaint the former PM has with the army and the judiciary is that when Imran Khan and the people took him out, why did not they stand with him.
