FIA recovers Rs9.6 million of BISP from govt employees
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recovered Rs9.6 million from government employees who embezzled money in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), cases have been registered against 14 government employees.
According to the FIA, the accused did not identify themselves as government employees in the survey. The employees fraudulently received money from the Benazir Income Support Program. The employees belong to the health, education and other departments.
According to details cases have been registered against a total of 24 employees so far and a total of Rs23.6 million has been recovered from the employees. Most of the government employees are from troubled areas.
