Somali pirates attack Pak Navy ship

Somali pirates launched an attacked on the PNS Babur but fled after receiving retaliation fire.

Earlier a ship named PNS Babur was dispatched for the protection of the ship. After the pirates released the MV Suez ship, another group of pirates tried to attack the ship but failed.Talking to Dunya News, Social activist Ansar Burney said that PNS Babur, the ship sent to escort the MV Suez, was attacked by the Somali pirates but after the Pakistan Navy Commandos fired in retaliation, the pirates fled.Citizens-Police Liaison Committee Chief Ahmed Chinoy said that all the crew on board the ship was safe. Chinoy said that the ship would be arriving at the Salalah port on Friday night where they are expected to stay one night.
