Weather to remain hot and humid in most parts of country

Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and humid weather in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.

The Met Office said that a shallow westerly wave is present over northern areas of the country. Weak moist currents are also penetrating central and southern parts of the country. Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However Rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Eastern Balochistan, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.

Meanwhile, weather remained hot and dry in most parts of country during the past 24 hours. However, rain occurred in central and south Punjab Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa and Gilgit Baltistan. Dadu and Mohenjodaro remained the hottest cities in the country where temperature climbed up to 47°C.
