First ever direct flight from Pakistan to US takes off
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - For the first time in the history of Pakistan, a direct flight left for the United States. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) intends to operate direct flights to the United States in the future.
According to the PIA spokesperson, for the first time in the history of Pakistan, a plane will land in the American city of New Jersey directly from Pakistan. PIA flight PK8711 left for the United States with more than 200 passengers on board.
The PIA had recently sought permission for direct flights from the United States. A PIA spokesman said that the PIA intends to operate direct flights to the United States if approved in the future.
