PIA flight brings back 141 stranded Pakistanis from Muscat

Another PIA flight scheduled to bring back 140 more stranded Pakistanis to Lahore from Muscat today.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Another special Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-8230 brought back 141 stranded Pakistanis to Lahore from Oman’s capital Muscat on Thursday, Dunya News reported.

Upon landing at the Lahore airport, the flight was disinfected and the passengers went through a screening process and later were shifted to the quarantine facility.

Another special flight PK-8232 is scheduled to bring back 140 more stranded Pakistanis to Lahore from Muscat today (Friday). The flight will reach Lahore at 4:00pm.

The government of Pakistan has started a series of special flights to repatriate Pakistanis stranded in various countries due to the suspension of flight operation in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
