Putting Shehbaz Sharif on ECL under consideration: Sheikh Rashid.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed Tuesday said Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif’s case is very serious and putting his name on the Exit Control List (ECL) is under consideration.

The railways minister talked to media persons in Peshawar and affirmed that he is monitoring the process of implementation on standard operating procedures (SOPs) himself and will visit every divisional headquarter to inspect safety measures.

Sheikh Rashid said, “We got permission to resume the train operation yesterday. Three trains will be run from Peshawar and another will be added if required. Sixty percent passengers will be carried.”

The railways minister stressed that Prime Minister Imran Khan will complete his five-year tenure and is currently facing no political challenge.

He said the National Accountability Bureau Amendment Ordinance will not come soon and the anti-graft body will take action against both the government and the opposition leaders till May 31.
