Karachi violence claims seven lives in 24 hours

Two people were killed in fresh firing incidents while seven people were killed in 24 hours.

According to the police, two people were killed by the firing of unidentified gunmen near the Sachal area. The victims were shifted to the Patel Hospital where they were identified as Saleem Ahmed and Ahmed Shah. The police claim that the motorbike used by the gunmen had been seized but no arrests have been made. Earlier in Mehran Town, Sajid shot and killed his soon to be mother-in-law and Father-in-law. In a firing incident at Massan Chowk, Fazal Rauf a resident of Kemari was killed. In another incident, Tauti Khan was killed in cross fire between two groups. The accused torched their car and also threw stones at the fire brigade.Nine¬year-old Nazmia and 10-year-old Hanna were injured due to the firing by unidentified gunmen in Aligarh Society.
