Fazl, Bilawal, Shehbaz discuss 18th amendment

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday telephoned Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and discussed matters regarding 18th amendment.

According to sources, during the telephonic conversation with PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Mian Iftikhar, the JUI-F chief discussed 18th amendment.

During the telephonic conversation, the PPP chairman said that the democratic forces will not compromise on the 18th amendment at any cost.

Bilawal said that the PPP restored the constitution to its original form through the 18th amendment and we will not tolerate any attempt to repeal the Amendment.

They also agreed to protect the 18th Amendment during the talks.

The PPP chairman said that the country was going through serious conditions due to coronavirus and the federal government should help the provinces instead of tampering with the constitution.
