Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said the government is ready to hold dialogue with militants. Speaking in a live programme “Prime Minister Online”, the PM said, “If they (militants) will challenge writ of the government, target innocent people and attack cities, public property, the government will take action against them.”He said, “We will think whether there is any need for a military operation in North Waziristan.” He stated that the government was not taking dictation from anybody for action in North Waziristan but it would take action.The Prime Minister said that both US and Pakistan have strategic partnership, and there are ups and downs in relations.Relations with USA had been moving forward with mutual interest, adding that after Clinton’s visit CIA-ISI relations have been repaired.The PM said that a commission would be formed to probe PNS Mehran incident.
