Senate's Standing Committee on Interior grilled the navy authorities on PNS Base hit.

The naval authorities refused to disclose the real number of terrorist before the Senate’s Standing Committee and explained that the committee should wait for the final report.According to the sources, the members said the war will fought in the streets if the operation was not conducted against the terrorists.The committee members also raised the question as to why it took so long to cleanse the base of a few terrorists.They said that why the business activity was continuing in Mehran Base despite security threats.Chairman of the committee Javed Ashraf Qazi refused to talk to the media after the in-camera meeting.
