SSP Ghulam Sarwar Abro said that IG Sindh appoints corrupts officials

KARACHI (Dunya News) – SSP Ghulam Sarwar Abro on Monday accused Inspector General (IG) Sindh Dr. Kaleem Imam of protecting officers involved in smuggling and oil theft.

While talking to media at his residence, SSP Ghulam Sarwar Abro said that IG Sindh appoints corrupts officials and protect officers involved in oil theft in Sindh and Punjab.

He claimed that officers appointed by IG Sindh are making million by stealing oil from pipelines passing through Sindh.

It is pertinent to mention that SSP Ghulam Sarwar Abro joined CTD as a DSP during government of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in 1990s.

Sindh government has barred police officials from talking to media without prior permission.
