Bilawal Bhutto called for a discussion on the national issues and inflation in the NA.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto called to revise the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), saying that the government should briefly discuss the inflation and economic situation of the country.

Talking to media, he expressed that the Parliament was again misused today as the opposition was not allowed to speak on the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) bill. “The government should close down the Parliament if the President House is going to be used for legislation now,” he added.

He went on to say that power of the Speaker should be used properly whereas, the current leadership wants to pass the PMDC bill forcefully. He expressed that there are reservations on the bill and a strong stance was taken against it in the National Assembly. He called for a discussion on the national issues and inflation in the NA.

Meanwhile, the scion of Bhutto dynasty said that federal government is deliberately using wrong procedures on the issue of Sindh IG. “The law and order situation in the province is getting affected owing to the post of IG,” he added, hoping that PM Imran will resolve the matter this week.

PPP Chairman further said that the current budget is a ‘PTIMF’ budget as the incumbent government has handed over the major institutions of the country to the global body. He added that the current leadership should think about the people as they are being crushed under the burden of inflation and unemployment.
