British High Commissioner, PM Imran discuss regional issues, environmental changes
He further said that they are ready to work with PM Imran Khan to promote bilateral relations.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner on Monday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the prime minister welcomed the British High Commissioner on arriving in Pakistan. Matters pertaining to mutual interests, economy, regional issues and environmental changes came under discussion.
On the occasion, Christian Turner expressed happiness over arriving in Pakistan and said that there are plenty of opportunities for strengthening Pakistan-British relations.
He further said that they are ready to work with PM Imran Khan to promote bilateral relations.
The British High Commissioner said that he talked of the warmth that binds Britain and Pakistan together, expanding trade and investment and Britain’s plans on hosting COP26 on climate change.
