Matric Pass Akbar Ayub appointed as KP's Education Minister

Akbar Ayub was previously Minister for Communication and Works

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in a major cabinet reshuffle appointed Akbar Ayub as new Minister for Education who hasn’t studied beyond matriculation.

Official website of KP assembly states his educational qualification as matriculation.

According to details KP government replaced Ziaullah Khan Bangash with Akbar Ayub who was previously Minister for Communication and Works.

On the other hand educational qualification of Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation & Settlement Iqbal Wazir is also matriculation.

Earlier today Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cabinet underwent a reshuffle as cabinet has been expanded and portfolios of several ministers are changed. Health Minister Hasham Inamullah has been appointed in the Social Welfare Department whereas Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub Khan has been made Education Minister.

Departments of Advisors and Special Assistants to KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan have also been shuffled. Special Assistant on Science and Information Technology Kamran Bangash has been given Local Government Department.

Khaliq-ur-rehman has been appointed as Advisor to CM on Higher Education. Arif Ahmadzai (Minerals Development), Shafiullah, Riaz Khan, Zahoor Shakir, Wazir Zada, Ahmad Khan Swati, Ghazan Jamal (Excise) and Taj Muhammad are appointed as Special Assistants to CM.

Iqbal Wazir and Shah Muhammad have been included in the provincial cabinet as Minister for Relief, Rehabilitation & Settlement and Minister for Transport respectively.
