Kashmir dispute can be resolved through dialogue, war is not solution: PM Imran
He said Modi government was working on the ideology of the extremist RSS.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said that wars do not resolve issues and the Kashmir dispute can be resolved through dialogues.
Addressing the International Sikh Convention held at Governor House on Monday, he said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government was working on the ideology of the extremist Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Imran Khan said that he tried to improve relation with India soon after assuming office, adding that he had conveyed a clear message to India to take one step and Pakistan would take two steps towards India.
The prime minister said that those who eat cow meat are being killed on roads in India, adding that no religion allows to kill anyone.
He said that the Muslims in India were being victimized, adding that Islam prohibits crime against humanity.
Earlier, After arriving arrived in Lahore on a one-day official visit, the prime minister held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to review overall annual performance of the provincial cabinet.
“For the first time in the history of province, legislation has been made at such an extent,” CM Buzdar said, adding that 900,000 kanals of lands worth billions of rupees have been recovered from the land grabbers.
PM Khan observed the performance report and appreciated the provincial government.
The premier also sought the performance reports of the ministers of the provincial cabinet.
Later, the PM is scheduled to address the International Sikh Convention in the Governor House.
PM Khan will also discuss current political scenario in the country during his meeting with other party leaders.
