Afghan media apologizes for sharing wrong pictures of PTM protestors
Pajhwok Afghan news started the propaganda by publishing old pictures of protesters.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – An Afghan news channel apologized on Sunday for publishing wrong pictures of a group of PTM protestors that attacked Pakistan Army’s check post in the leadership of Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir.
According to details, Pajhwok Afghan news started the propaganda by publishing old pictures of protestors including injured ones on social media.
A group led by Members of the National Assembly (MNA) and Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leaders Mohsin Javed and Ali Wazir, assaulted Kharqamar check post, Boyya, North Waziristan tribal district on Sunday.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), they wanted to exert pressure for release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day.
The Afghanistan news channel apologized after social media exposed their propaganda of sharing fake pictures of protesters.

Troops at the check post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post, ISPR said.
Due to firing of the group five Army soldiers sustained injuries injured. In exchange of fire three individuals who attacked the post lost their lives and 10 got injured.
All injured evacuated to Army Hospital for treatment. Ali Wazir along with 8 individuals have been arrested while Mohsin Javed is at large after inciting the crowd.
