Bilawal should train march against India: Fawad Ch
He suggested PPP's Bilawal to amend his political stance by considering states interest.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday strongly criticised Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for what he called “averting attention from the accountability of Rs5,000 billion,” and vowed that the government could not “forgive” money belonging to the general public.
He addressed a press conference in Lahore where he asserted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the country has elevated in terms of international repute.
“PM Khan is being considered as a leader of whole Muslim Ummah,” he went on to say, adding that his advise has been sought on international affairs of countries including, Yemen, Iran, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Pakistan’s bilateral relations with the United States have been improving.
He lashed out at political rivals by stating that the previous government had left the country in destitute condition while financial situation had been crippled. “The previous government could not acknowledge significance of Pakistan whereas the PTI highlighted the state’s original potential.”
“In our tenure, significant reduction in corrupt practices can be observed. “Massive” corruption has been eliminated while it is lowering at the grass root-level,” he added.
He said that economy of the state has been improving overtime.
He suggested PPP’s Bilawal to amend his political stance by considering state’s interest.
“There is no point in staging a political adventure against the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) while he needs to provide an appropriate response on allegations against him,” he maintained.
“Bilawal should organize a train march against India as there is enough time for “Abu Muhim” [a campaign to secure father],” he opined.
“He wants to avert attention from the fake accounts cases against the PPP,” he said while recalling the “failure” of so-called movement of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for diverting attention from the process of accountability.
Regarding Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj recent remarks over alleged abduction of two Hindu girls in Sindh, he denounced her stance and pointed out that incidents could happen anywhere while it is critical to understand the handling of the matter by the government.
“We are trying with best possible means to recover the girls,” he said, asking if India acts the same way if any similar incident happens there.
“India has been constantly violating human rights of minorities in occupied Kashmir and Sushma is worried about rights of minorities in other countries,” he said, adding that she should consider the matters of her country.
He maintained that safeguarding the rights of minorities was one of the government’s highest priorities.
