Pak, US hold talks for written pact on intelligence sharing

Talks between military leadership of Pakistan and US are underway to figure out a written agreement on intelligence sharing to get rid of terrorism menace.According to sources, both the countries have been exchanging their secret information since 2011 but there is no written agreement in this regard. The sources revealed that efforts to sign a written pact on intelligence sharing were started after Raymond Davis issue.DG ISI Shuja Pasha and CIA chief Leon Panetta had discussed this issue in the US and Pakistan’s civil and military leadership had same stance on this matter.The sources further added that Pakistan’s Army Chief had also discussed this issue in his deliberations with the visiting US military leaders.
