Accountability court extends Siraj Durrani's physical remand till March 11.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – An accountability court in Karachi has on Friday extended the physical remand of Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani till March 11 and handed him over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The hearing regarding assets beyond sources case was conducted against the speaker. NAB prosecutor had filed the petition for the extension of the physical remand which was opposed by Siraj Durrani’s counsel. The court accepted the NAB plea.
Furthermore, Agha Siraj Durrani’s brother is also likely to be detained by the authorities, and he has filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) for protective bail.
