Zardari, Fazl consult over launching protest movement against Govt

Fazlur Rahman proposed to start a protest movement against government in the first week of April.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari called on Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.

Former president also invited the JUI (F) chief on dinner during which over all political situation in the country came under discussion.

According to sources, Asif Ali Zardari and Fazlur Rehman held a detailed consultation over launching a protest movement against the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Sources further informed that JUI (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman proposed to start a comprehensive protest movement against government in the first week of April.

This was also decided during the meeting that all opposition parties will taken onboard in this regard.
