The US has refused to halt its operations in Pakistan.

The American authorities said that the CIA will not suspend its operation against the suspected persons despite Pakistan’s objections.Pakistan had lodged protest with the USA against missile strikes by its drone aircraft in the country.However, CIA chief Leon Panetta clearly explained to the Pakistani intelligence authorities that his fundamental responsibility was to protect the American people, and he will not halt operations against terrorists.
