Toll tax exemption for public representatives withdrawn

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Toll tax exemption for public representatives has been withdrawn and now they are required to pay the tax at all national highways.
In a statement, Minister of State for Communications Murad Saeed said that members of national and provincial assemblies as well as of senate are now obliged to pay the toll tariffs.
Murad Saeed said that this immunity was a burden on the pockets of ordinary people. He urged the public representatives to actively pay their due revenues and set an example for the masses.
