Unofficial result: PTI retains NA-247 seat in by-election

PTIs Aftab Siddiqui got 32,464 votes to win the by-election in NA-247.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Aftab Siddiqui of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) comfortably won the by-election of National Assembly constituency NA-247 on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to unofficial and unverified result received from all 240 polling stations, PTI’s Aftab Siddiqui got 32,464 votes to win the by-election in NA-247. Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Sadiq Iftikhar remained second with 14,114 votes.

The seat was vacated by PTI’s Dr Arif Alvi after assuming charge of President.


PS-111 by-election


Shehzad Qureshi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) won the by-election of Sindh Assembly constituency PS-111 (Karachi South) on Sunday, Dunya News reported.

According to unofficial and unverified result, PTI’s Shehzad Qureshi bagged 11,658 votes to win the by-poll. Fayyaz Pirzada of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) remained second by getting 5,780 votes.

The seat was vacated by PTI’s Imran Ismail after assuming charge of Governor Sindh.
