India release water in Pakistan rivers after torrential rains in Indo-Pak Punjab
(WebDesk) – India release water in River Sutlaj, River Ravi and River Chanab. Heavy outflow increases the water level and wreak havoc due to inundated flood in nearby villages.
Similarly, after the torrential raining in upper Punjab and KP and northern region, a warning of flood in several Punjab villages is issued by the Flood forcasting division. Flood alert has already been issued to establish flood watching camps in the affected areas.
A high flood in Nullah Dek was reported near Chahoor in Pasrur tehsil after India released water from its reservoirs. Hundreds of acres of crops were also destroyed in Shakargarh city and several villages located on the banks of these rivers have been flooded and the danger of further flooding has also increased.
It was predicted earlier that India would probably release the waters after the heavy rainfall in Pakistan’s rivers which may affect the closest districts and villages around the specified locations.
